Our Heritage
Winnathoola Wagyu is a sixth-generation, family-run operation located in Pickanjinnie, Queensland. Our story began in 1891, and while a lot has changed over the years, one thing never has our deep respect for the land and the animals we raise on it.
We’re proud to produce both fullblood and crossbred Wagyu, bred and raised entirely on our property. From genetics and nutrition to animal welfare and traceability, we handle every step with care ensuring consistency, quality, and integrity in everything we do.
But we don’t just raise Wagyu we grow the grain that feeds them, too. Our on-farm cropping operation allows us to create tailored rations using high-quality silage and straw. It’s a hands-on, all-in approach, and it’s how we’ve always done things.
At Winnathoola, this isn’t just a business, it’s a legacy. It’s early mornings, long days, and family working side by side to raise beef we’re proud to serve.
